October 14, 2014. Short of Canada, Long On Color - Lakeport State Park, Port Huron, MI. Our plan was to travel across Ontario today and to be in Lewiston, NY, this evening. We fell short of the announced goal. Instead, we stopped just north of Port Huron and about 200 miles short of Lewiston. We were here last year on the 1st of October. There are many, many more pictures this year.
It is 8:00 and I am sitting here in T-Harvey listening to the rain hitting the roof. It is relaxing but it is beginning to get old. This is our third day on the road and it is the third day of rain. We are 750 miles from home and we've been rained on for about 550 of those miles. I am afraid T-Harvey is beginning to get wrinkled.
As you can see from the pictures, we found plenty of color on our bike ride tonight. I included more pictures than normal because . . . well, because I liked them all and couldn't decide which ones not to show you. You will decide which ones I should have discarded by the speed with which you scroll through them. The problem with that is that I will never know which ones you liked and which ones you disliked. Maybe you will like them all. I did.
Tonight, we are parked on the shore of Lake Huron. Tomorrow, we will be on the shore of Lake Ontario. We will stay at least two nights at Four Mile Creek State Park in Northwest New York. Four Mile Creek is near Youngstown, NY, north of Niagara Falls.
You are wondering what we will do there, aren't you? Nothing. That's right, nothing. Nothing includes riding bikes, reading a book, taking a nap or a short walk. Nothing could include cooking and eating s'mores on just smelling smoke from the many campfires here in the campgrounds. I hope you get to do nothing some day. I think you will like it.
Tomorrow, I plan to write you about a day of doing nothing. I hope you find it entertaining. At least, I hope you find it better than nothing at all. Tee-hee. I made a small funny. Do you see how I did that? See you.

Maybe you should make a television show about that -- a show about nothing.
That's been done with pretty goood success. Writing about nothing is the next great challenge. I'll settle for being half as successful as Seinfeld.
I'd settle for marrying half as well as his wife did. :) JUST KIDDING. I married far better. I was just making a comment about millions and millions and millions of dollars in residuals.
I think the colors are behaving quite nicely for you!
The camera doesn't lie. However, sometimes, the photo editing program does.
