January 15, 2016. A Busy Day.

January 15, 2016.  A Busy Day.  There is a laundry here at the campground.  We began the day early by visiting the laundry.  No, we weren't sightseeing.  We were out of clean clothes.  There is something about wearing the same pants ten days in a row that will drive a fellow to the laundry.

There is also a second Doc's Seafood Shack here.  We thought we ought to compare the two, so Doc's II is where we had lunch.  When the server dropped by I told her that the servers at Doc's I claimed they were more efficient and nicer by far than those at Doc's II.  We couldn't have gotten better service at a five star restaurant.  Debbie hovered over us like we were royalty.  I rewarded her handsomely.

We made a re-provision trip to Walmart.  The Supercenter here is a very big store.  We spent an hour walking from one side of the store to the other.  Finally, I asked Annie if she was trying to get in her steps walking in the store.  And, she almost did.  She came up about 2000 steps short.  When we returned to the park, she insisted on walking more until she finished her goal. I told her she could walk if she wanted to, but that I was feeling a little nappy.  The final picture shows who won that minor disagreement.

I never win.

Just how do you take the many pictures of you and your true love hiking in the muck, walking down the lane hand in hand, or just smiling at the camera? Tripod and delay shutter? or a third party snapping the pio?
